Eviction Moratorium Extended to October 3, 2021

As you may have heard, the CDC has extended the Eviction Moratorium through October 3, 2021, based on COVID-19 and the Delta Variant transmission levels. This order may be extended if needed.

All of Northern Virginia is included in this order as of today, August 4th. You may review the map which shows levels at https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view

NVAA is monitoring this daily and will keep our membership updated as new information becomes available.

We advise our members to continue to promote the Rent Relief Programs available to landlords and tenants by taking a personal approach and speak with tenants on a 1:1 basis.
