Tell us about your company and what you do:

Capitol Hill Photo offers high-quality professional photography for businesses and individuals looking to make themselves more marketable. Headshots, events, social media, print ads, they all need compelling photos, and Capitol Hill Photo works in detail with each client to find what their customers want to see and strives to actively grow their business via photography. More than the services, Capitol Hill Photo helps me build great relationships with other business owners and lends so much perspective into a variety of other industries, lifestyles, and communities I wouldn't otherwise get to learn about.

Why are you an NVAA member?
I am a member of NVAA not just as a renter myself, but as a service provider to businesses that literally keep the lights on for so many people in Northern Virginia.

What do you get from your NVAA membership?

My NVAA membership gets me access to great events, necessary housing information, and a fantastically friendly group of community leaders.

What is a benefit you receive as a member of NVAA that you can’t receive anywhere else?

NVAA is the only organization that has allowed me to voice my opinions and enact change in a swift and tangible way. Patrick is very receptive to the voice of the member base and visibly puts in real effort to build value for the members and the multi-family housing industry as a whole.

What is your favorite NVAA event?
My favorite NVAA event is the Holiday Gala/Casino Night. The silent auction items are really cool, gambling with no risk is always fun, and it’s so great to see the hard work that members and staff have put in throughout the year pay off during the award ceremony.
