How long have you been an NVAA member for?

Tell us about your company and what you do:
We make natural, healthy, and sustainable products accessible -- the quality of products NoVa residents want, but don't often have conveniently available to them. We provide natural and delicious snacks and beverages + sustainable personal care items via super-convenient, modern vending machines. 

What do you like most about your job?
What I most like about my job is that I feel like I'm doing something meaningful. It has tangible (which I think is critical), positive outcomes and can improve communities systemically. 

Why are you an NVAA member?
I am a member to meet and mingle with others in the NoVa multi-family housing community.  

What do you get from your NVAA membership?
I get to meet other professionals in the NoVa multi-family housing community, as well as other local business owners.

What is a benefit you receive as a member of NVAA that you can’t receive anywhere else?
Given that the association is NoVa-specific, you know that the folks you meet and speak with are intimately familiar with the market, which is important to us as a NoVa-based small business. 

What is your favorite NVAA event?
The Summer Social was especially fun with live music and a wonderful view. 

Where are you from?
I'm originally from the area -- born in DC, raised in Bethesda, went to college and grad school in MD and DC, and have spent most of my adult life in Arlington. #DMV all the way! But I do love to travel! I especially love the different architecture of cities across the country and world. 

What about pets?
I am a huge animal lover. My dream is to be able to set up a sanctuary for shelter pets one day where they can live comfortably until they are adopted or if they are not adopted after a bit of time.
